Fire ants will stop at nothing to grow their colony here in the Clayton and…
Ants in My Kitchen!

Ants are EVERYWHERE
There are thousands, probably millions, of ants throughout your yard. This is the blunt truth if you live in the Southern Wake and North Johnston Counties. Some are beneficial, eating our leftovers, and aerating our lawns. BUT, some bite, and others make it into our homes…
They have two goals… (1) multiply the colony… (2) obtain food…
Where are they coming from?
This is a very common question we get here at Kumo Pest Control. Ants can fit into almost any crack and crevice – and trust me, there are a lot of cracks and crevices on any given home. So, the short answer is… everywhere. One way or another, they will find that left-over birthday cake on your counter.
Solution
Here at Kumo, we will do a variety of things to get rid of those ants getting in your home as well as preventing new ones from entering. They include
(1) Bait
(2) Spray
(3) Granules
Baiting and Spraying are included with both the Bronze and the Silver Program. The bait is amazing, because they will eat the bait, and also transfer a lot to the colony – ensuring that we take out all of the ants. Spraying for ants is most beneficial from the outside, where they are coming from. We’ll do a mix of both during our visit.
Granules are mostly geared toward those nasty fire ants in the yard… This will knock out a variety of ant mounds. Available on our Gold Program.
Clean, clean, clean!
The BEST thing that you can do to ensure that ants don’t keep coming back is to clean! If they don’t have anything to eat, then they won’t keep coming. With that said, don’t feel bad if you really are clean and still having ants. They are desperate, and will continue looking for food until they find something. Kumo will send them the message that you don’t want them there anymore. 🙂
