Fire Ants Invade
Have you ever walked outside to do some yard work, or to enjoy few moments outside with the kids only to realize that your foot feels like it’s on fire? You’re probably being attacked by a fire ant colony.
This is extremely common in the Clayton and South Raleigh area. Fire ants are everywhere! Their mounds can grow quite big – hopefully not as big as the picture in this picture…
Let Kumo Pest Control knock them out before they get this big.
Spring and Summer
During the spring and summer, winged males and females leave the mound and mate in the air – yes they can fly too. After mating, females become queens and may fly as far as 10 miles from the parent colony. However, most queens descend to the ground within much shorter distances. This is why we encourage you to spread the word of Kumo’s yard coverage. 😉
